Sensemaker was commissioned to deliver a robust program of policy, business case and reporting for moving to a modernised policy architecture to align with the expanded and ever increasing responsibilities of the IT business unit. In conjunction with a key partner, we provided a review of the IT onboarding and offboarding process responding to a cyber incidents that had occurred.
Due to the extensive nature of Sensemaker's skill sets, we were also able to combine the people processes to a holistic situation and develop a complete onboarding and offboarding process to ensure the client could future proof their onboarding and offboarding for both new hires and the allocation of equipment and identity based access.
In addition to this, we used existing datasets to define their records retention and disposal schedule which was not existent. The data discovery was complex and involved and with our business partner we provided something that had never existed in the company before which then provided value across IT, HR and Legal/Compliance functions within the organisation.
